I have some amazing friends who completely go above and beyond – not just by being them but by accepting me for who I am – especially those who never question my plant based dietary choices. I started a new job a few weeks back and was surprised when there was a parcel for me at reception. Working in PR I have to say first thought was it was a promotional item of some sort and nearly didn’t open it. Well am I glad I did open it…. and let me share why.
Inside the secure packaging was a beautiful box with a wrapper from the Sweet Reason Company. Curiosity got the better of me and I opened it up, thinking still it was a box of promotional sweets that I was going to have to give away as they wouldn’t be suitable for vegans. I opened the card and immediately I realised, this was a personal gift from my friend so this was looking very hopeful.
I’d never heard of the company before however they have been featured in Vogue, Delicious magazine as well as the Sainsbury magazine so clearly I’ve been missing out – until now that is.
Delving into the box I will admit to giving a little squeal of excitement! Vegan brownies – not just any brownies the box was packed full of peanut butter, marshmallow, salted caramel and macha brownies. This was a gift from heaven. Then of course I had a bit of a guilt moment as I’m on a health kick just now – but you know what – sometimes you just have to embrace such amazing gifts.

I think my favourite out of the four flavours is the peanut butter brownie but to be honest – I’m in love with all of them.
I had a question for Customer Service, contacted them and received a very fast response to my email by phone. Amazing just like their product.
These brownies are fresh and handmade so you really need to put them in the fridge (especially in this hot weather) as soon as you get them and of course it means they have a shorter shelf life than the additive and preservative pumped brownies you can buy in store. So that just means you have to eat them straight away lol.
